A very important fact is that any Cannabis training that has come through a Medical Entity based on pharmacutical teachings or Governmental Entity has been based on the legal use of ONLY pharmacutical grade cannabinoids such as THC & CBD. These are in isolate form and do not correlate with the Cannabis the general public has access to in a whole and therefor does not apply because it is not a full spectrum product. The Cannacian Training below is based on real life experiences of patients.

Just a few things a Cannacian can do are…

1.  Educate a patient on the basic understanding of the Endogenous Cannabinoid System and how Cannabis supports it.

 2.  Discuss the goals and potential positive health conditions that can be expected and achieved while using Cannabis. Educate on the importance of full plant medicine and cautiously guide when not available.

3.  Formulate and then guide a patient to a therapeutic dose to titrate to. 

4.  Follow progression of symptoms and concerns and provide guidance when adjusting cannabinoids and terpenes to get the desired results.

5.  Help a patient achieve a therapeutic dose while avoiding an unwanted euphoric effect if THC happens to be the main cannabinoid.

6.  Guide a patient to the best delivery method of Cannabis to suit their needs and come up with solutions when the lungs or gut is compromised. 

7.  Help a patient avoid drug interactions with pharmacuticals.

There are so many more applications you will learn with the courses listed below. This all came togeher because of Dr. Regina Nelson. 

Dr. Regina Nelson created and began teaching the 3 Level Certification program as well as trademarking the term “Cannacian” in 2017.  This program certifies that you are educated and knowledgable to use or guide a patient to use Cannabis as Medicine. She is the Founding Board Member and President of The eCS Therapy Center, a non-profit organization. 

Dr. Nelson first wrote The eCS Therapy Companion Guide, which was published in 2015 and went on to rewrite it in 2018 because of all of the research that came to surface in just a short span. The updated version is now “The Survivor’s Guide to Medical Cannabis.” This book is the language on “how to use Cannabis as Medicine” and the courses certify that knowledge. Once again she JUST RELEASED the 2nd Edition in June 2022!

Canna Consult You? located in Fraser, MI not only has the book, "2nd Edition The Survivors Guide to Medical Cannabis” for sale but also is currently the only company providing the 3 Level Cannacian Certification Courses to the public in the State of Michigan. The courses are held in person, live online and on-site when called for.

Each Level takes approximately 10-12 hours to complete depending on class size, location, and comprehension of the group involved. Because learning strengths and weaknesses can come in all different shapes and sizes, Maria Lappin is not only understanding of these obsticles but is willing to adapt her training to best suit your needs within reason.
